EN The Sali e Tabacchi warehouse is one of the oldest and most particular structures for the storage of materials (silos), that we can find in Marghera. Built between 1926 and 1927 by Monopoli di Stato, it contained the cells of the silos Sali, in a very interesting and highly mechanized construction, that aesthetically looked like a big multi-storey building. From the imagines we can see the port facilities growing around this building representing the original stage of the whole area.
IT L’edificio Sali e Tabacchi è tra le strutture più antiche e particolari destinate allo stoccaggio di materiali (silos) che possiamo individuare a Marghera. Costruito tra il 1926 e il 1927 dai Monopoli di Stato, conteneva all’interno le celle del silos Sali, in una struttura molto interessante ed estremamente meccanizzata, che esteticamente sembra un grande edificio multipiano. Dalle immagini possiamo notare il porto che cresce e si evolve intorno a questo elemento originario.
